Every place in the Orchard behaves differently — some grow slowly and never surprise you, some climb steep and drop fast. The friends wander between them. That's usually where the trouble starts.
The old, slow trees. Nothing here hurries — and nothing here surprises you either.
Flat, tidy rows. A little boring on purpose. Sleepy — in the good way, mostly.
Steep, windy, wonderful view. The path up is real — so is the drop beside it.
Where Mango sits. Not above money — just far enough back to see the whole of it.

That's the whole idea. Nobody in the Orchard is stupid — each one is right about something, and can only see their own part of it. Including Mango. Including you.
